We tested many beers before we chose the locally produced Hambleton Ales Nightmare Porter to go with our beautiful locally reared, Heritage breed beef, which is slow cooked until meltingly tender. Add in some fresh onion, carrots and herbs and together they make a pie you'll not forget in a hurry. Best served with a glass of your favourite ale on the side!
