Refund Policy

We are sure you will enjoy your pies and join our hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers, but if for any reason you aren’t happy with your purchase, we will refund you the cost of your pies in full.

Simply send us an email at info@yorkshirehandmadepies.co.uk with the subject line ‘refund request’ and provide us with a brief outline of why you weren’t happy along with your order number, name and address and we will refund your purchase within 1-2 working days.

Please be aware during the delivery process, we use a 3rd party courier who also have set guidelines for distribution.

These items are not entitled to the typical 14-day cooling off period provided under the Consumer Contracts Regulation 2013 for distance sales. Please be aware of this before purchasing these items, as the Products are considered to be perishable, you will not be entitled to return them if you change your mind.

If any Perishable Goods you have purchased are faulty when they are delivered to you, you should contact us within 24 hours. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, perishable goods are not entitled to the statutory 30-day right to reject.

Late or missing refunds

If a refund has been agreed and you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again after 24 hours.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Yorkshire Handmade Pies Quality Guarantee Terms and Conditions

The following restrictions apply to products which specifically state they are covered by our money back guarantee. Please read the following terms & conditions before making your purchase. Non-adherence of these conditions will void the guarantee.

All money back guarantees offered by Yorkshire Handmade Pies are subject to a maximum period of 30 days, unless otherwise stated, from date of purchase. No refund claims outside of this period will be considered.

We offer the money back guarantee at our cost in good will and fully expect our customers to take the time to provide us with the necessary feedback if claiming against the guarantee.

We reserve the right to forfeit the guarantee if we suspect any abuse of our money back guarantee offer.

This offer is available to UK residents who are 18 years old or over, except employees of Yorkshire Handmade Pies Limited, its agents and anyone else professionally connected with this company. No bulk, trade or third-party applications will be accepted.

Offer is valid on online purchases only. Claims cannot be made via any retailer or wholesaler or other sales outlet.

Offer is limited to a maximum of one (1) per household. Multiple applications from the same household cannot be accepted.

No responsibility can be accepted for applications that are ineligible, lost or delayed. Yorkshire Handmade Pies accepts no responsibility for applications not successfully completed due to a technical fault, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.

Applicants who submit valid applications will receive a refund up to the value of the pies purchased.

This offer does not affect your statutory rights.

By participating in this offer, participants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

Yorkshire Handmade Pies reserves the right to amend or withdraw this offer at any time without prior notice.

Yorkshire Handmade Pies’ decision is final and binding in all matters.

Participants’ information will be used for the sole purpose of administration of this offer only, except where a participant has previously opted-in to receive further communications from Yorkshire Handmade Pies. Other than as required by law, Yorkshire Handmade Pies will not disclose participant information to any third party without express permission from the participant.

Yorkshire Handmade Pies reserves the right to verify any application and to refuse to award a claim where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instruction forming part of this offer or where abuse is suspected. Yorkshire Handmade Pies will be the final arbiter in any decisions.

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
