How big are the pies?
The pies are 250g each – a substantial serving for one.
How many pies are there in a box?
Savoury pies come in boxes of 6. Sweet pies come in boxes of 4.
Will a box of pies fit in my freezer?
Savoury pie boxes are 340mm x 225mm x 50mm. Sweet pie boxes are 340mm x 220mm x 30mm. Both will fit inside most freezer drawers.
Where can I find cooking instructions?
Cooking instructions for pies can be found here, and on the ‘Pies Made Properly’ leaflet that will arrive with your order. Cooking instructions for side dishes can be located on the product label.
Will my pies be delivered frozen?
Yes, our pies are delivered frozen using temperature-controlled packaging. The outside of the pastry may defrost slightly, but this is normal and your pies won't be affected.
Can I freeze the pies?
Yes, you can. They should be placed straight in the freezer when they arrive or stored in the fridge and consumed within 2 days.
How long can I keep my pies in the freezer?
Your pies will have a use by date displayed on the box label but for best results we recommend eating them within 3 months. But they rarely last that long!
Cooking instructions
How do I cook my pies?
For best results, we recommend cooking your pies from frozen.
1. Pre-heat your oven to around 195°C (gas mark 5)
2. Remove pie(s) from the freezer and place on a baking tray before placing into the oven. Please note the pie should be cooked in the foil and not removed from it before cooking.
3. Cook for around 40-45 minutes until piping hot in the middle.
4. Remove the pies from the oven and leave to stand for around 6-7 minutes. This will help the pastry firm up and make the pie easier to remove from the foil.
5. Remove the pie from the outer foil and serve! If it sticks, try gently teasing the foil away from the top of the pie by making a small cut in the foil with scissors or a knife.
Can I cook my pies with an air fryer?
Yes! Follow the steps above but use a temperature of 190°C and adjust the time to 35 minutes.

How much is delivery?
Standard delivery is £5.95 and this will be added to your bill at checkout. This does not include gift card purchases.
Orders over £55 qualify for free delivery.
Important: to qualify for free delivery, the value of the order needs to be £55 or more after any discount codes have been applied.
Who will deliver my pies?
Your order will be delivered by DPD.
Where do you deliver to?
As our food is perishable, it needs to arrive on your chosen delivery date. We’re therefore currently unable to deliver to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Isle of Wight, as DPD deliveries to these areas take 2–5 days.

Packaging & recycling
Can my packaging be recycled?
Yes! All of our packaging can be recycled.
Cardboard delivery box, cardboard pie box and foil sleeves | All of these packaging items are recyclable and can be put into your domestic recycling bin.
Gel ice packs | These can be saved and used again. Alternatively, cut off a corner of the pack and dispose of the liquid down the drain. It is made of 99% purified water, is environmentally friendly and safe to dispose of in this manner. The outer plastic bag is also fully recyclable.
Customizable boxes
Can I build my own box of pies?
Whilst we would love to offer this, we produce in batches and freeze down in bulk which means we operate with virtually zero waste. It also means we’re able to dispatch our orders promptly and get them to you quickly - something we couldn't do if we offered a pick and mix option.
Subscriptions
How do subscriptions work?
Our pie subscriptions are the easiest way to keep your freezer stocked with your favourite pies. Simply select 'Subscribe & Save' on an eligible product page and choose how often you'd like your pies delivered.
As a subscriber, you'll receive 7% off every subscription order. Your payment card will only be charged when your next order is due to be dispatched, and there are no additional fees or commitments.
You can amend, pause or cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account here and heading to the 'Subscriptions' tab.
